Conor McGregor's latest madness: Snacks on Dead Bees (VIDEO)

Much of the UFC crowd is eagerly awaiting Conor McGregor's next fight after his masterful return after 15 months, in which he knocked out Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone by knockout in just 40 seconds.

With confirmation by Dana White, the UFC organizer, who has yet to set a date for the Irishman's next fight, the challenge against Anderson Silva appears to be the prime time event that MMA fans would like to see.

While his next bout is being defined, McGregor surprised his followers with stories on his Instagram account where he showed one of the ingredients of his breakfast, or failing snack, which left him with a bad taste in his mouth.

The Irishman, accompanied by a friend and his partner, opened the lid of the jar and showed before the camera that there was a large handful of these dead flying insects that are not usually part of their diet. The former UFC champion was hesitant before trying them and even several fell on his nerves.

Those present were amazed at what McGregor was about to do, although they did not stop him and even asked him how they felt, as the scene made them curious.

The bottle's label said they were black figs with macadamia nuts from Australia and allspice from Jamaica, making it unclear where the Irishman got the dead bugs out before eating them.

When he put one to his mouth, and when asked by those present about whether they tasted like honey, he explained that he felt somewhat chewy, but he did not refer to his taste, although judging by his gesture while chewing it, it should not have been delicious.

Would you try them? In some countries of Asia there are people who eat bees, although in the vast majority they are consumed when they are still larvae since they are considered a source of nutrients. However, it remains unclear why Conor McGregor decided to try them out.
