Anderson Silva says he is preparing to fight Conor McGregor

Right now it seems really unlikely that an Anderson Silva vs. Conor McGregor bout can happen.

Maybe it would make sense for the money it would generate, but that would be the only reason. They do not share a division, nor would it be a step forward for either of them towards a championship ... And for now only the interest of both is known, nothing more.

Still, whoever was the UFC Middleweight World Champion is not kidding with this possibility. And this week the Brazilian sent a video to Chael Sonnen to share on his popular YouTube channel. Silva's intention is to generate enough fan attention for the UFC and McGregor to be interested in finalizing the fight.

Sonnen noted that Silva appeared to look slimmer than usual in the video. According to Chael's calculations, Anderson must weigh between 187 and 189 pounds at this time. Sonnen is convinced that Anderson Silva is taking the possibility of a super fight against Conor McGregor very seriously and believes that in the end it will be up to the fans whether the fight comes to fruition or not.

The American Gangster thinks that if there is enough pressure from the fans, the UFC and Dana White will grant Silva their wish and they will fight. At the moment everything is still just a fantasy.
